MY FRIEND ISHMAIL SANDSTROEM, the outsider artist from Sunnyside, Queens, is showing his new wondrous works - lightsculptures, glass engravings, installations, drawings and prints in the lobby of the Gershwin Hotel, New York City. The Gershwin Hotel lobby is open 24/7 and is located at 7 East 27 street (1-212-5458000). Instead of an opening party we  decided to celebrate the closing of the show this Thursday May 3 from 6 to 9pm with cocktails, snacks, entertainment and an auction. Welcome!
